   I think your Phillips family may include my great grandfather Thomas Carroll Phillips born 1826 and married Martha Reed. I think they were in Alabama. I have been looking for a birth record for this Thomas Carroll Phillips. I think he was born in 1826 and died 1899. He died in Parker County Texas. Sometimes he only used “Carroll Phillips” as his name. Thanks…

      Ms Robbins! Alright! A cousin! I have always been interested in what happened to his wing of the family! I kept hoping he had some sons that would be able to do a DNA test so I could prove my grandfather Joseph was related to William!

      I’d love to coordinate research with you and ask you a bunch of questions about your branch! I thought he moved to Texas, but never knew what motivated his move or if he had some stories that were passed down through the family.

      Ms. Robbins, the email I got from your post didn’t go through. Do you happen to know a male Phillips that descended from Carroll? I would love to compare DNA to see if William truly is our common grandfather!
